<p>With dozens of things to do in Aragona Village, Virginia Beach, and the surrounding area, it’s easy to stay busy. What I find makes this area special is its location. There’s ample green space throughout the city, but you’re also just a matter of minutes from the beach. Take a look at some of the best things to do in Aragona Village and nearby.

<h3> Chic’s Beach

<p>Chesapeake Beach, which is known as Chic’s Beach locally, is the best place to be on an early Saturday morning. A bigger beach with lots of waterfront activity, it’s the best choice when you want real beach experiences that are not as touristy as Virginia Beach Oceanfront itself. Chic’s Beach is a short drive away.

<h3> Haygood Skating Center

<p>I love that roller skating is making a comeback, and the Haygood Skating Center is the place to do it. There’s a kid’s roller rink here, but also an indoor playground (great for those super hot days) and a bowling lane. The pizza is simple but perfect for a kid’s birthday party.

<h3>Aragona Pembroke Little League Park

<p>It’s the oldest Little League in the area, but this is where all of the action happens in the summer evenings. There are a few open spaces at this baseball park for a game of toss while the team plays. A few walking trails exist, too.

<p>An excellent counter-service restaurant with an authentic Middle Eastern menu, Mazari Kebab is an excellent choice. Freshly made kebabs, gyros, and fantastic spice blends make this a unique choice.

<h3> Kelly's Tavern – American – 3.9 Stars - $

<p>You’ll find this smaller chain dotting the landscape in Virginia. We happen to think it’s one of the best restaurants in Aragona Village because of the family-friendly atmosphere and good food. Check out Kelly’s Tavern for the best burgers.
